Easy and flexible maintenance

Independent mould make it easier to change mould, only with hand tools but not crane.

Process of Bottle Cap Printing Machine

1.Screen printing on plastic and metal caps is a technique to transfer a design with highly opaque inks on the surface of the closure using silk screens. The effect is a highly glossy impression that can be felt on touch giving a the beverage cap a stunning look.

2.Offset printing on bottle caps & closures uses 2 rollers to transfer the image on the flat cap. This is a preferred technique , as it is cost effective.

3.Inkjet digital printing is efficient for printing small quantities of plastic caps and metallic caps, generally used in promotional printing.

4.Hot stamping and heat transfer can be done on curved, convex surfaces on different shapes & sizes of In this method of decoration, a hot stamping die is made with the desired design, which is pressed against the closure with the foil sandwiched in between. With heat, pressure and contact time, the foil sticks to the cap surface giving it a luxurious metallic finish. This technology usually uses 1 color of foil at a time.

5.Kiss printing/highlighting is the transfer of colored ink to an embossed bottle cap/closure by a roller.

6.Embossing and debossing can be done on the closure caps during its molding to create nice 3D designs on the surface.

7.Pad printing makes printing of 1-6 colors possible on the caps of different sizes. The image registration is very sharp and precise , print quality is superb and the print lasts longer due to high ink deposition. Even the smallest letters can be printed very sharp. Quick changeover times make it a preferred method of printing on caps and closures.

8.Laser marking is a typical high contrast additive free laser marking application for marking QR codes, logos, specific alphanumeric codes etc on the inside or outside of the plastic closures caps and crowns used in PET bottles, aluminium screw caps of glass bottles, aluminum foil lids on food cartons, sheet steel of screw glasses and also synthetic wine corks. Laser marking ensures anti-counterfeiting and is good when each crown/ cap/ closure has to be marked with different data to produce unique codes and characters for promotions. The marking is very sharp, tamper proof, food safe, and very fast. Usually it is an inline process, where the data is fetched directly using special software . This is also called mark on the fly.

FAQ

Q: What is bottle cap printing?

A: An offset press used to print a design onto a metallic substrate, which is then die-cut and formed, used-as its name indicates-for printing bottle caps.

Q: What is the process of making bottle caps?

A: Hydraulic type compression moulding process is used. The combined effect of heat and pressure cause cross-linking in the material which fills the cavity of the mould and hardens. After a certain time the mould is opened and the mouldings are removed.

Q: What is printer maintenance?

A: Each printer has a preset maintenance interval, which occurs after a certain amount of pages are printed. The maintenance interval lets the user know that it's time to install the maintenance kit so that the parts within the printer do not get overused.

Q: How often should you maintain a printer?

A: Printers used to print a few documents a week likely only need annual servicing, whereas an office printer that is in constant demand likely needs servicing more frequently. With proper care and maintenance, your office printer can last several years.

Q: Which moulding is used for bottle caps?

A: Most plastic bottle caps are manufactured through a process known as injection molding. This process enables each finished one to achieve high precision, uniformity in size, shape, and high surface finishing.

Q: What type of machine is a bottle cap?

A: A bottle cap converts rotational motion to linear motion when we turn the cap to open or to seal the bottle. Hence the bottle cap is a screw.

Q: What is the purpose of plastic injection molding machine?

A: Injection moulding is used to make a range of widely used products, including common plastic items like bottle tops as well as remote control casings, syringes and more. It is also commonly used for manufacturing larger items such as car body panels.

Q: What are the parts of a compression molding machine?

A: Compression moulding requires a mould made up of two parts- a cavity (female) part of the mould and a plunger (male) part of the mould. The moulding process requires a press with heated platen (upper and lower).

Q: What is the function of compression molding?

A: Compression molding relies on the deformation of a softened raw material pre-form under pressure and heat to force the material into the desired shape. It involves applying pressure or squeezing a malleable material charge between two halves of a heated mold.

Q: What is the difference between injection and compression molding?

A: Injection molding is a high-volume production method that is unmatched by any other manufacturing technology. Injection molding processes can be fully automated, while compression molding often requires a person to place the material into the mold, remove it, and post-process it.

Q: What is the advantage of compression Moulding machine?

A: Low cost-Due to its simplicity, compression molding is very cost-effective when compared to other techniques. Little waste-Little material is lost during the molding process. For example, it does not use gates, sprues or runners, tooling features required by other production methods that result in greater waste.

Q: What are the advantages of compression molding?

A: It is cost-effective for short production runs. Due to its lower tooling and setup costs, compression molding is ideal for small to medium production runs. It is often used to create prototypes or samples of designs before proceeding to large-scale production.

Q:Is compression molding expensive?

A: Compression mold tooling is much cheaper than tooling for a comparable process like injection molding. Compression molds are far less complicated, requiring fewer machine hours to complete.

Q: What type of plastic is usually used with compression molding and transfer molding?

A: Compression molding is used with thermosetting plastics. The thermoset plastic material may be in free-flowing granular form or a viscous material. The material is placed in a hot mold, and the mold is closed by a hydraulic press.

Q: What is the process of plastic caps?

A: Hydraulic type compression moulding process is used. The combined effect of heat and pressure cause cross-linking in the material which fills the cavity of the mould and hardens. After a certain time the mould is opened and the mouldings are removed.
